Thanks. I must admit, when I last visited Arizona in the Fall, I wondered why you don’t remind us of these things more often.:) Rub it in, won’t you? (Maybe you were just trying to be nice by not posting this back during our big snowstorms.)

About 1/3 of Arizona has an elevation of 2500ft or less, though for sure that’s where the vast majority of people live (I have no idea why). A large fraction, maybe close to 1/2 I’m guessing, sits above 5000ft. And that topographically blessed fraction has mighty fine weather indeed.

Here are the summer month’s historical avg for my Arizona town:

June: High 86 Low 48
July: 89 57
August: 86 56

That said, Berkeley has mighty fine weather too, though when I lived in Santa Clara we exceeded 100 several times (no ac).
