One Short

Tomorrow, Max Sawicky is leaving DC and travelling to Tucson. I am leaving Tucson and travelling to Austin, for a conference. Therefore, by the law of conservation of bloggers, which I just made up, someone must be travelling from Austin to DC. Step forward, whoever you are.

There ought to be a law against having conferences in Texas or (shudder) Tucson in the summer…

My next conference is at Lake Louise, somewhere north of Banff…

The law of conservation of bloggers has a time travel element. Sad to say, Kieran and Max are jointly responsible for the move to Washington two years ago of the former resident of the governor’s mansion in Austin.

Man, this Austin to Washington talk is scaring me.

Perhaps some blogger WANTS to leave Austin, but the Texas rangers have decided to detain him for “state business” whioe the Homeland Security Department tracks his or her travel plans.

Just got back from Vancouver, B.C. Gee, I guess I had better start a blog. (It was nice to be out of the country for a little while…the big “issue” around town was the bid for the 2010 Winter Olympics.)
