Katharine Hepburn

If you’re one of those people who thinks there are two kinds of people in the world, you might say there are the ones who go in for Audrey Hepburn and the ones who go in for Katharine Hepburn. I’ve always been solidly of the second type, myself.

I’m an Audrey man, myself.

But Katherine was glorious in the Lion in Winter. Very sad to see her go.

I’ll have one of each, ta.

Yup, one of each. Both good people too, it looks like.

We at Film Weekly magazine think that Bringing Up Baby being the best of Kate’s films. Alongside Cary Grant she is brilliantly witty and a perfect foil for Cary’s deadpan style.
